Thanks to the wood turning technique Kashokubiki Decorative grinding, Passed down from generation to generation, artisans shape each bowl with acute precision and sensitivity, creating elegant sculptural pieces that are both beautiful and practical for everyday use. 

AGREEMENT あえか evokes delicacy through finesse. The beauty of these bowls lies in the grace of the lines rising from their delicate base.

• These are handmade products, each piece will look slightly different.
• Never leave lacquerware items to soak in water for a long time. After use, wash them as soon as possible and wipe them with a dry cloth.
• Never leave lacquer objects in direct sunlight or high humidity, to avoid the risk of transformation, discoloration and mold.
• Never use scrubbing brushes or scouring powders.

Founded in 1908, Gato Mikio is a house specializing in wood lacquer in Yamanaka in Ishikawa Prefecture. They produce and sell exquisitely designed lacquerware that highlights the characteristics of their producing region, such as traditional woodturning methods and decorations using "kashokubiki" (a special woodturning technique).
