The body of each wand has been sculpted by artisans seeking optimal grip to provide greater ease of use. Manufacturing is done in 11 steps and takes up to 2 months for each wand!
The warm feel of the wood and the natural shine of the lacquer provide a harmonious visual balance.

Hyozaemon

Founded in 1921, Hyozaemon is a chopstick manufacturer located in Obama, Fukui Prefecture, known for its traditional Wakasa-nuri chopsticks.

Hyozaemon believes that chopsticks should be treated with the same care as food, like anything else we put in our mouths. Their chopsticks are made with pure Urushi lacquer which contains no chemical paint, making them chopsticks of exceptional quality and safety.
