Recipe: Vinegared Japanese Rice for Sushi

Basic recipe for preparing Sushi.
Ingredients :
• 500g of hot rice already cooked
→ recipe: Cook Japanese rice at home
For the vinegar sauce
– 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
– 1 tablespoon of sugar
– 3/4 teaspoon of salt
Preparation :
1. Place all the ingredients for the vinegar sauce in a heat-resistant container. Heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds and mix well.
2. Place the hot cooked rice in a large salad bowl and pour the vinegar sauce over it.
Gently mix from the bottom with a moistened wooden spoon.
Let cool to room temperature until use.
Attention !!
Do not crush the rice grains!
Do not put the rice in the refrigerator. It would become hard and dry.

– strip of shiso or chives cut into small pieces
