Traditional technique × Female handsUntil now, most traditional cutlery was designed predominantly by male artisans, but kasane knives were designed from the ground up from a woman's point of view for women's hands.
The technology and experience cultivated by long-time manufacturer "Sumikama", founded in 1918 in Seki in Gifu Prefecture, are integrated into the manufacturing of kitchen knives.
The knife is incredibly lightweight, easy to handle, as well as pleasant to use every day.
It is the first cutler that cares about its users, the most active in the kitchen but paradoxically the least well equipped.
Kasane will delight all fans of Japanese design and of course fans of fine cutouts.
