Traditional technique × Female hands
Until now, most traditional cutlery was designed predominantly by male artisans, but Kasane knives were designed from the ground up from a woman's point of view for women's hands .The technology and experience cultivated by the long-time manufacturer "Sumikama", founded in 1918 in Seki, Gifu Prefecture, are integrated into the manufacturing of kitchen knives.
The knife is incredibly light, easy to handle, as well as pleasant to use every day.
It is the first cutler that cares about its users, the most active in the kitchen but paradoxically the least well equipped.
Kasane will delight all lovers of Japanese design and of course lovers of fine cutouts.

The weight of the knife is reduced to approximately 100 g (Bunka knife), which is approximately 50% lighter than equivalent knives.
A rare "Yamazakura" wild cherry wood handle from the Gifu Mountains in Japan. Yamazakura is not only a solid material but excellent in terms of water resistance. It also has a magnificent luster of color created by polishing, which provides natural warmth, both aesthetically and to the touch.
The simplicity of the handle combined with the quality of steel used (the V-EDGE) makes it a modern and efficient range of Japanese knives. The entire handle without rivets resists time and wear.
