To hold the chopsticks, you use your thumb, index finger and middle finger to move the upper chopstick. The triangular section of these chopsticks fits perfectly in the hand.
At the same time, the tip of the chopstick evolves towards a square section to make it easier to pick up food. The shape is entirely designed to offer better ergonomics. This type of wand is also recommended for learning to master the gesture.
This Shippou pattern means “The Seven Treasures” in Japanese, it is a concept from Buddhism. It is made up of linked and connected circles, it is a symbol of harmony and human relationships. It is a historical pattern and one of the lucky patterns in Japan.

Founded in 1921, Hyozaemon is a chopstick manufacturer located in Obama, Fukui Prefecture, known for its traditional Wakasa-nuri chopsticks.
Hyozaemon believes that chopsticks should be treated with the same care as food, like anything else we put in our mouths. Their chopsticks are made with pure Urushi lacquer which contains no chemical paint, making them chopsticks of exceptional quality and safety.
